Practical and up to date This series of three self-instructional books, each with their Group Leader's manual, covers Paul's Missionary journeys and shows how the life of Paul and the legacy of his letters can give powerful direction to the students own life and ministry.
Simple to do Step by step learning methods make sure each point is grasped before moving on to the next.
Learn with confidence The simple home studies, done at the student's own speed, mean that even the least confident can then happily join in the weekly group meeting.
Fully tested Monitored for accuracy by Dr John Balchin, B.D., M.Th., Ph. D.. Test groups of ordinary people have all scored over 80% in the final test, without any difficulty. Most students will do the same!
Easy to lead The Group Leader's manual ensures that anyone with normal ability can lead a group most successfully.
BOOK 1 is based on Paul's birth and early life in Tarsus and Antioch, and the events of his first missionary journey. The aim is to know and understand the principle doctrines used by Paul, and to study in depth the letter to the Galatians. This prepares the student for ministering to pastoral needs.
BOOK 2 looks at the people, places and events connected with Paul's second missionary journey. The objective is to study the teaching in his letter to the church in Thessalonica, and learn from his methods of training others for ministry.
BOOK 3 focuses on Paul's third journey, his imprisonment and his martyrdom. The aim is to learn about the ministries for Christ of those Paul wrote to, isolate the facts and spiritual truths relevant to our lives, and discover what Paul's journey tells us about his walk with the Lord.
(Each book contains abundant illustrations, maps, supplements, charts and analyses to amplify the text.)

'I am a fairly new Christian. My wife and I joined a group to study the SEAN course Paul's Life and Letters. Through this course our knowledge and understanding of what the Bible has to say to us in our modern world increased in leaps and bounds.
The insight it gave me into Paul's problems and the environment in which he worked for the glory of God was tremendous, and it has helped me more in my own commitment to God than many hours of 'ordinary' group Bible study ever did.
For a second course on this SEAN series I was asked to be the group leader. With the aid of the group leader's manual, and a little extra work, I was pleased to find that I was able to teach God's word to others and help them to greater understanding.'
W A A Atherton, Electronic Engineer.
'I want to wholeheartedly recommend this course. In my opinion no one should be able to do it without becoming better informed and equipped. We have here a very useful tool for Christian discipleship and service. Let's use it in the same spirit in which it was written - to the greater glory of God!'
