A SEAN practical and devotional
course based on Ephesians
This study of Ephesians
looks deeply into what Paul has to say about how spiritual insight from God's
point of view can make down-to-earth changes in our outward lives, too.
A devotional course, this provides ideal material for refreshing the faith of
all Christians. Above all, this course underlines the main thrust of Paul's
teaching: 'the importance of a deepening relationship with Jesus so that, filled
with His Spirit, we may, both as individuals and as a church, become more and
more like Him.'
From Paul, to God's people,
giving God's point of view... Chapters 1-3 - Spiritual insight about a) Christ,
b) ourselves; chapters 4-6 - Outward lives.
Ephesians has three studies (A,
B and C) for each week. Of these, studies A and B are to do at home in
preparation for study C, which is done at the weekly group meetings. Thus the
whole course lasts 10 weeks.
The topics include:
>>> Coping with feelings of
rejection
>>> Establishing successful relationships
>>> Discovering the use of our gifts
>>> Building self-confidence
>>> Adopting the right attitudes in marriage
>>> Finding a purpose in life
