Users of the older style courses are well accustomed to finding errors of one sort or another in most of the home studies, and a considerable amount of care has been taken to eliminate these in the revamped editions (currently Life to the Full, Pure Gold and Life of Christ book 1). However, despite our best efforts, it's almost inevitable that a handful of errors has passed undetected, and the purpose of this page is to record all such errors, until corrections are made in subsequent print runs.

All SEAN's courses and general information are detailed in this colourful leaflet.

SEAN UK has been working hard in the last few years to revamp its core material, bringing its quality and format right into the 21st century.
Already both pre-foundation courses Life to the Full (previously Abundant Life) and Pure Gold (previously Abundant Light) have been revamped and published, as also has Ephesians (previously Union with Christ).
And now (Oct 04)... the first foundation course Life of Christ, Book 1 is available in its new format.

SEAN-related bookAlthough Tony Barratt may have been one of the main authors of SEAN's TEE materials, many will be interested to know that Tony's wife, Peggy, has now written a book, Humming Bird Nest, published May 2003, which will be of considerable interest to those who'd like to know more about the Barratt family, not least for its look behind the scenes of early SEAN. Here's what the back cover says...Peggy Barratt, mother of five, lived with her husband Tony for thirty years in South America. These were the days of revolutions and.. read more |

These, too, have been revamped as part of SEAN UK's medium term programme to bring the core courses into the 21st century. How Can I Get to Know God? is not only part of the Life to the Full course, but it can also been used as a simple explanation of the Christian faith to enquirers and therefore ideal as a supplement to any enquirer course or programme.
SEAN UK now operates as a separate body. Previously part of SEAN International, it became an independent charity in August 2003 with, broadly, a two-fold purpose first, to develop and increase the use of TEE (SEAN's in particular) for discipleship and leadership training at grass roots level in the UK; second, to distribute English materials to overseas countries (just as SEAN International did previously), having taken over all the existing stock.
High on SEAN UK's agenda is to host more workshops around the UK, building on the recent series of successful workshops, in order to develop regional centres. Also, currently well under way, is the revamping of the main SEAN courses.
No matter how good the material, and no matter how keen the students, it is probably stating the obvious to say that a well trained tutor can add a great deal towards the success of any course.
Here, in SEAN UK, we are investing much time and effort into... (read more)

Half a dozen churches in the north west of Britain take time out to look at the tools for local-church discipleship and training at a recent workshop. Read on...
The Chinese Overseas Christian Mission has TEE material, including SEAN, which is of particular interest to the Chinese in Europe. These include SEAN materials in Chinese (in both simplified and the traditional Chinese scripts) - namely Abundant Life, Abundant Light, and Spirit World. The tutor's manuals are incorporated into the manuals for the main materials.
The Revd Edward Wei, Director of Training Chinese Overseas Christian Mission, can be contacted via email at COCMTrainingDepartment@cocm.org.uk - and the website of the Chinese Overseas Christian Mission is www.COCM.org.uk.

SEAN, despite being the main authoring body within popular level TEE, is not alone. On the Links page we are building up a list of other TEE-related sites. Please let us know of other sites - your own, or those known and/or discovered by you.
SEAN UK's mission is encourage much more grass roots TEE within the local church context. Please do not hesitate to talk to us - whether for advice in setting up a group, a local programme (perhaps working towards SEAN's Extension College certificates and diplomas), or simply to let us know how your existing group/programme is doing and how your experience may help others. Email us now, or write/phone/fax - we would love to hear from you.
On the basis of these credits, the Extension College awards certificates and diplomas for different levels and amounts of study. Find out more.
Colourful 12-page 210x99 leaflets have now been printed. Every book order will come with a small supply of these. Please use them to make SEAN's courses more widely known - perhaps putting some on your church welcome table or passing one to your pastor or leadership team. If you'd like a supply of these, email the office (admin@sean.uk.net) and ask for the approximate number you require - don't forget to give your postal address!
SEAN UK is a charity (registration 1102491). If you have a heart for the growth of grass roots TEE in the UK, please support SEAN UK, either sending your gift or donation directly to SEAN UK or, when you are ordering books through this website catalogue, by simply adding a 'gift' where indicated. All gifts will be much appreciated and fully acknowledged and, if you live in the UK and pay income tax, we would most grateful if you could request a Gift Aid form too (there's a facility for this on the website order form). 'What you have heard from me ... entrust to others, so that they may be able to teach others also' (2 Tim 2:2), and 'be diligent to present yourself to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, handling correctly the word of truth' (2 Tim 2:15).
Please let us know if you'd like to be on the mailing list for Forum - holding it in your hand is much more pleasurable than seeing it on screen. There is no paid subscription for Forum, although any donations towards the costs will be received gratefully (you can add this on your order form).
Forum exists for the exchange of ideas, visions, views, experiences and news. Do you have views, insights or visions to share? Write to Forum now about your own experiences; or start or continue a particular topic within TEE that would benefit us all.
Emailing us at forum@sean.uk.net is very much the preferred method of contributing. However, please feel free to write, fax or phone us too. It would be very much appreciated if articles could be submitted digitally (on email, CD, floppy disk or zip cartridge). Thanks!
We want www.sean.uk.net (that's here!) to act as a resource for many more taster materials and/or one-off Bible studies. So why not send in some? Perhaps you have a study or course that you would like field-tested? Or just an idea for one? Here's your opportunity to share in the community of TEE users who will value such a resource. Ideas? Comments?
NOTE... SEAN cannot garantee to place every submitted study it receives in this way. However, all studies which are sound and reflect thorough preparation will be carefully and prayerfully considered. If you have specific authoring skills, please make yourself known to SEAN.

A printed bookmark with the books of the Bible listed on one side (under broad categories for easy reference), and www.sean.uk.net promoted on the other, comes with every book that is sold from the UK centre. Further free supplies are available on request.Email us if you'd like a supply for your church welcome desk, home groups, bookstall, etc, etc. Or add them to your order - they're free.
